Community Policy

Last Updated: 17 October 2025

Welcome to the RacingPlaymate Community. Singapore’s first home-based sim racing network, powered by Just Racer.

Our mission is simple:
To bring people together through the joy of sim racing — in a safe, respectful, and inclusive community where everyone feels welcome.

This policy outlines how we keep that spirit alive.

1. Respect the Space, Respect the People

Every host is opening their home to the community — please treat it with care.
Every gamer is joining to enjoy their passion — please treat them with respect.

We do not tolerate:

  • Disrespectful, rude, or abusive behaviour

  • Harassment, discrimination, or offensive language

  • Damage to property or misuse of equipment

A good rule of thumb: “Leave every place better than you found it.”

2. Safety and Conduct

  • Play safe. If you feel unwell or tired, take a break.

  • Follow host guidance on safety and equipment use.

  • Keep food and drinks away from rigs and electronics.

  • Alcohol or drugs during sessions are strictly prohibited.

  • Only the person booked should use the equipment unless approved by the host.

⚠️ Warning: This simulation includes flashing lights and motion effects that may affect individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.  Viewer discretion advised.

We want everyone to race hard — but play fair and stay safe.

3. Community Inclusiveness

We welcome everyone — from curious first-timers to seasoned racers.
Our hosts include homemakers, retirees, and enthusiasts who believe in connecting people through shared experiences.

Discrimination of any kind — race, gender, age, ability, or background — will not be tolerated.

4. Noise, Neighbours, and Environment

Many of our hosts operate from homes or residential areas.
Please help us keep good relations by:

  • Keeping noise levels reasonable

  • Avoiding loitering in common areas

  • Respecting arrival and departure times

Let’s make sure everyone — hosts, neighbours, and gamers — enjoys peace of mind.

5. Booking Etiquette

  • Be punctual for your sessions.

  • Cancel or reschedule early if you can’t make it.

  • Communicate promptly if you’ll be late or need help.

  • Treat the host’s time as you would your own.

Being considerate helps the whole community run smoothly.

6. Equipment Use

Our sim rigs are high-performance machines — please use them responsibly.
Do not:

  • Change system settings or install software

  • Force steering components, pedals, or screens

  • Tamper with cabling or power setups

If something doesn’t feel right, pause and ask the host.

7. Feedback and Issues

We thrive on community input.
If you encounter a problem, experience a great session, or have ideas to improve the platform — tell us!

📧 info@racingplaymate.com

Constructive feedback helps us grow and make RacingPlaymate better for everyone.

8. Violations and Suspension

We take community trust seriously.
If a user — gamer or host — violates this policy, RacingPlaymate reserves the right to:

  • Issue warnings

  • Suspend or terminate accounts

  • Withhold payouts (for hosts) or refunds (for gamers) in serious cases

⚠️ Any act of harassment, fraud, or deliberate damage will be reported and handled by the authorities under applicable criminal law.

9. Our Promise

RacingPlaymate is built with the community, for the community.
We promise to listen, evolve, and keep the experience safe, transparent, and fun for everyone.

10. Your Agreement

By joining as a gamer, host, or supporter, you agree to uphold these community values and help make RacingPlaymate a positive, trusted space for sim racing in Singapore.
